Creonix Finishes 2011 Equipment Program
BRADENTON, FL. – Creonix completed its 2011 investment program with the final installation of the new production floor equipment. The recent equipment investments included automated axial and radial prep machines, an aqueous wash, and the Haako BGA rework machine.
Ed Heslin, Creonix Manufacturing Manager, commented, "Creonix continues to make investments in the best equipment, ensuring we keep pace with all of our customers' needs."
The equipment will make preps more consistent, and more cost efficient. The aqueous wash, with top mesh conveyor, allows Creonix to run larger boards without baskets, increasing throughput, and enables the majority of boards to be dried completely in the wash, virtually eliminating the need for the air hose for drying.
The new Haako BGA rework machine, which is state of the art, has bottom side pre-heaters, and PC controlled to allow us to run hundreds/thousands of individual profiles, allowing Creonix to more efficiently rework production.
